Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora - Waikato is seeking an experienced administrator to join the Hamilton Supported Transfer and Accelerated Rehabilitation team (START). Based in Hamilton, the role also supports Taumarunui and Te Kuiti, with potential travel to other bases.

You will schedule daily workloads, maintain admission and discharge records, and handle frontline customer service and calls. The successful candidate will have healthcare experience, strong IT skills (iPM, CWS, MS Office),

About the Role

Exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced administrator to join the Hamilton Supported Transfer and Accelerated Rehabilitation team (START), which forms part of the wider START service. This position is based in Hamilton, but it also supports the team in Taumarunui and Te Kuiti. While based in Hamilton, there may be a requirement to travel and support the other bases.

About the Team/Service

START (Supported Transfer and Accelerated Rehabilitation Team) is an Older Persons and Rehabilitation led programme which provides and promotes rehabilitation of patients within their home environment.

START aims to reduce the pressure on hospital beds, through avoiding hospital admissions, earlier discharge, preventing readmissions and improving the quality of care for this group of patients.
