Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking an Acute Capacity & Flow Manager to lead the Integrated Operations Centre in New Plymouth. This senior role requires clinical credibility and strong leadership to manage hospital capacity, patient flow, and capacity planning across the network.

• Registration as a health professional (Nurse) with a current practising certificate.
• Postgraduate qualification at certificate level or above.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day hospital capacity and patient flow management.
• Maintain oversight of inpatient capacity, occupancy, admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Coordinate bed allocation and patient placement decisions.
• Manage operational responses to demand surges and capacity pressures.
• Facilitate daily flow meetings, escalation huddles and capacity discussions.
• Support achievement of emergency and acute care performance targets.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical and operational leaders to reduce delays and improve patient journeys.
• Use data and real-time intelligence to inform operational decision making and service improvement.
