Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking a General Manager to lead Patient Access & Flow across Taranaki Base Hospital. Qualifikationen

• Significant senior leadership experience (5+ years) within healthcare or operational services.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams and diverse service portfolios.
• Experience in patient access and flow, hospital operations, demand and capacity management, CCDM or related operational services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational, financial and people leadership.
• Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead the Integrated Operations Centre and Care Capacity Demand Management programme.
• Drive hospital-wide improvements in patient access, patient flow and discharge planning.
• Oversee Patient Support Services including orderlies, cleaning, transport, accommodation, medical typing, call centre and mortuary services.
• Provide strategic oversight of the Resident Medical Officer Support Unit, workforce planning and wellbeing.
• Lead Security Services and Emergency Management, strengthening readiness and response capability.
• Manage business planning, workforce planning, financial performance and resource utilisation.
• Use data and performance reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to remove barriers and improve outcomes.
• Build relationships with Health NZ, unions, regional partners and external stakeholders.
