Job summary

Franklin Vets in Pukekohe invites an entry‑level Credit and Receivables Assistant to join our Support Office finance team. You’ll support day‑to‑day receivables, assist with invoicing and VIP Care, and help with credit control while learning practical accounting in a busy practice network across South Auckland and beyond.

Ideal candidates have a grounding in accounting, strong attention to detail, and communication skills to engage with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in accounting principles.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of people.
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial data.
• Experience in accounts receivable not strictly required but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receipting and allocating customer payments.
• Assisting with invoicing, including VIP Care programme.
• Supporting credit control activities and following up outstanding accounts.
• Responding to account and payment queries.
• Investigating and resolving account issues with clinic teams.
• Communicating with external clients from farmers to pet owners.
• General finance data entry and maintaining customer/account information.
• Providing support across the wider finance team as required.
