Job summary

Zespri in Mount Maunganui is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract within Finance Shared Services. You will process invoices, manage payments to NZ and offshore vendors, and support AP processes.

You should have experience across AP and AR, strong attention to detail, and be comfortable using SAP or another major ERP. The role offers a supportive team, hybrid work, and a convenient office location with onsite parking, plus the chance to contribute to a global

Responsibilities

• Processing invoices accurately and in line with Zespri policies.
• Managing payments to New Zealand and offshore vendors.
• Managing scheduled and unscheduled payment runs across global entities.
• Resolving payment queries, exceptions and outstanding items.
• Completing vendor account reconciliations and resolving AP data issues.
• Supporting continuous improvement of Accounts Payable processes and controls.

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract. The Accounts Payable Officer role sits within Finance Shared Services, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Lead. You will be responsible for:

• Processing invoices accurately and in line with Zespri policies.
• Managing payments to New Zealand and offshore vendors.
• Managing scheduled and unscheduled payment runs across global entities.
• Resolving payment queries, exceptions and outstanding items.
• Completing vendor account reconciliations and resolving AP data issues.

With previous accounting experience and a good understanding of Accounts Payable processes, you will meet the following selection criteria:
