Job summary

Mediterranean Foods in Wellington is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager and the busy warehouse. The role focuses on accounts receivable with a smaller portion handling accounts payable, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payments.

You will work 40 hours a week, onsite from Monday to Friday. Some experience in accounting or office administration is required, and we are willing to train you in MYOB Accumatica and general bookkeeping tasks.

• Some experience in accounts or office administration
• Willing to learn and be taught the software and processes

Responsibilities

• Primarily handles accounts receivable with a smaller share of accounts payable duties
• Ensures accurate invoicing and timely payments and supports month-end tasks
• Maintains records and supports the Finance Manager in day-to-day activities
