With a focus on accounting concepts and practical skills, you will assess progress, provide feedback, and support diverse learners in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Recent teaching experience at secondary or tertiary level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand preferred; LAT considered.

Aufgaben

• Deliver engaging, interactive Accounting lessons for diverse learners.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials and assessments aligned with outcomes.
• Help students understand accounting principles and apply concepts.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor progress and provide additional learning support when needed.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Incorporate digital tools and innovative teaching approaches.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve programme delivery.
• Provide pastoral support to help students navigate their pathway to university.
