Job summary

UP International College New Zealand (UPIC) is seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Teacher to join our academic team in Auckland CBD. You will deliver engaging Accounting lessons, helping international students develop practical skills for university study.

You'll develop lesson plans, assessments and provide constructive feedback, while collaborating with colleagues to deliver a high-quality programme and support student achievement.

Qualifications

• Relevant accounting knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience in teaching or mentoring students is preferred.
• Ability to develop structured lesson plans and engaging materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse cohorts.
• Commitment to student-centred learning and assessment-based feedback.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, interactive Accounting lessons for international students.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials and assessments aligned to outcomes.
• Convey key accounting principles and financial concepts clearly.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor progress and provide additional learning support as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve programme delivery and outcomes.
