Job summary

MYOB is seeking a Domain Expert to join the Practice product group. You will lead the implementation of tax and accounting requirements into online content for accounting practices, collaborating with regulators and development teams to deliver compliant, high-quality content.

You will apply your accounting expertise and leverage AI tools to create content that meets regulatory needs and improves user satisfaction, working in a hybrid environment with flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years’ experience as a bookkeeper or accountant.
• Proven business and commercial insight.
• Familiarity with software development processes or experience working with development teams would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Experience developing financial or accounting solutions.
• Skill and ability in problem solving, applying technical solutions to business problems.
• Strong facilitation, workshop and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of tax and accounting requirements into content for online tools used by accounting practices.
• Apply accounting and tax expertise to develop content aligned with compliance requirements.
• Work with regulatory bodies (such as ATO or IRD) to gather and implement compliance needs.
• Collaborate with development teams and product management to deliver high-quality content.
• Use AI-powered development tools to enhance content and user satisfaction.
