Job summary

McCann Aotearoa in Wellington is seeking an experienced Account Director to lead client service for key social behaviour change programs. You’ll collaborate with the McCann team to deliver impactful, creative work and build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.

As a senior leader, you’ll drive strategic thinking, negotiation, and opportunities for growth—both organic and new business—while championing collaboration and the agency’s values.

• Work with the McCann team on some of the most important social behaviour change programs in New Zealand
• Champion collaboration and motivate people to deliver exceptional, effective, creative work
• Be a pivotal business lead who has trust and confidence of client and agency
• Help the agency grow through identifying and contributing to organic and new business opportunities

You’ll be someone who:

• Brings extensive, strong, relevant experience from a similar senior client service role, or a client side equivalent role
• Understands the importance of trusted relationships and is an exceptional communicator
• Is a strategic thinker, champion of creative and highly skilled in the art of negotiation
• Is self starter and has the drive to deliver effective results for both client and agency
• Loves problem solving and brings intuitive decision-making abilities.
