Job summary

AA New Zealand's Automobile Association is recruiting a contractor to leverage your automotive expertise to diagnose battery faults and provide exceptional service to members in Auckland. Work varied hours as part of our AA Battery team, with ongoing training and support.

Based in Auckland, you will run your own business-like approach, apply NZ legislation understanding, and deliver customer-centric, commercial services while representing a trusted brand with over 120 years of history.

Qualifications

• Experience running your own successful business and strong understanding of NZ legislation.
• A relative automotive or auto-electrical qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Strong aptitude for learning business processes and using varied technology applications.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric ability to deliver commercial services.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical advice and diagnose vehicle battery-related faults.
• Help members get back on the road and articulate the AA member value proposition.
• Support all AA products and services.
• Based in Auckland and uphold brand standards.

Provide expert technical advice, diagnose vehicle battery-related faults and help members get back on the road. Articulate the AA member value proposition and support all the AA's products and services. Based in Auckland.

About you:
