Job summary

AA is seeking a contractor in Auckland to leverage automotive battery knowledge and run a small business-style operation within the AA Battery team. You will diagnose battery faults, provide expert technical advice, and help members get back on the road while promoting AA products and services.

Applicants should have an automotive or auto-electrical background, a willingness to learn business processes, and strong communication skills to deliver excellent customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

Be your own Boss! Come use your automotive technical skills and knowledge from the workshop to work varied hours with people from 'all walks of life' daily as a contractor with our AA Battery team! Provide expert technical advice, diagnose vehicle battery-related faults and help members get back on the road. Articulate the AA member value proposition and support all the AA’s products and services. Based in Auckland.

About You

Experience in running your own successful business and strong understanding of NZ legislation. A relative automotive or auto-electrical qualification is preferred but not essential. A strong aptitude for learning business processes and using varied technology applications. Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric ability to deliver commercial services.
