Job summary

Hynds Pipe Systems Limited in Auckland is seeking a Graphic Designer & Digital Innovation Lead to drive 3D modelling, prototyping, rendering and print production, aligning with brand standards.

You will also support digital development, maintain multimedia assets and manage website content across group sites, with a permanent, full-time role offering 40 hours per week and a salary range of $72,000–$76,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts or related design discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in 3D visualisation or related design field.
• Adobe Creative Cloud power user with InDesign and Photoshop skills.
• Proven record of strategic thinking, concept development and delivery across mediums.
• Competency in website content management.
• Experience in large-scale print development and publication.
• Photography and Photoshop competency for product/event work.
• Videography and video editing software experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to edit copy for design.
• Ability to lead in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• 3D lab management: Manage and optimise our 3D printing and digital modelling capability, including equipment performance, maintenance planning, quality standards, workflow efficiency, material research and continuous improvement.
• Prototyping: Collaborate with engineers and category management to refine new product concepts.
• Vendor management: Manage and leverage supplier relationships.
• Resource management: Manage stock of consumables.
• Technological research: Investigate emerging technologies to enhance our digital library capabilities.
• Visual & brand: Maintain creative design and brand strategy for print matter across current design trends.
• Software: Acquire and maintain expertise across our 3D software toolset.
• Multimedia: Support photography and video workflows; edit and maintain image library; develop digital signage.
• Website: Support management and updating of content across Group websites and CMS.
• Print: Concept, design and produce print matter for promotions, catalogs, events and signage.
• Communications: Translate rough ideas into clear concepts and designs for stakeholders.
• Progression: Stay updated on design trends, software and technology to drive efficiencies.
