WEL Networks in Hamilton, New Zealand, is seeking a capable 2IC to back up the Substation Services Supervisor and cover for absences. The role involves providing distribution network services, including building, maintaining, and repairing the network throughout the region.

About the role

As the 2IC you will provide back up to the Supervisor Substation Services on a daily basis and cover for them in the case of their planned or unplanned absence from work. As well as to provide distribution network services for WEL including building, maintaining and repairing the network.

About you

• An electrical Trade qualification/Technician with 5+ years of experience post qualification
• Experience in the supervision of technical and trade staff
• Excellent digital / computer skills
• Natural leadership skills and the desire to build on them
• A proactive, collaborative and positive working style
• A strong commitment to ensuring the Health and Safety of themselves and those around them
