Job summary

Sonder is building a nationwide Responders Network in New Zealand. As a casual on-call Sonder Responder, you’ll provide in-person support to members in coordination with the Support Centre, on a flexible roster.

We’re seeking individuals with backgrounds in emergency services, military, law enforcement or mental health who can assess crises with empathy and quick decision-making. You’ll nominate your hours and contribute to safe, timely responses across NZ.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency services, military, security or related fields.
• Empathy is essential and the ability to assess critical situations.
• Willingness to work a flexible, on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person support to Sonder members in coordination with the Support Centre.
• Conduct stakeholder engagement to support Sonder’s outputs and partnerships.
• Assist the Response Network Manager with procedures and emergency responses.
