Offshore Structural Engineer
Job summary
A leading engineering firm is seeking a qualified marine technology professional in Stjørdal. The role involves ensuring compliance, delivering reports, and improving maintenance programs for marine structures. The ideal candidate must have an MSc in a related field and 5-10 years of relevant experience. Offshore work is required, and proficiency in Norwegian and English is essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Good knowledge of tools and methods for analytical work with marine structures.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and handling interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Deliver integrity status reports and propose corrective mitigating measures.
- Establish and continuously improve maintenance programs for marine structures.

Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. Follow up on the structural integrity of offshore installations. Deliver integrity status reports and propose corrective mitigating measures. Establish and continuously improve maintenance programs for marine structures. Execute necessary structural analyses to document the technical integrity and safe operation of marine structures.
Requirements include:
- MSc in Marine Technology, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and handling interfaces.
- Good knowledge of tools and methods for analytical work with marine structures.
- Good knowledge of regulatory requirements, and national and international standards for marine structures.
Additional details: Language - Norwegian and English, Location - Stjørdal, Bergen, Stavanger, Harstad with offshore work required. Commuters are not accepted. Work schedule - Full-time. Duration - 30.11.2025 - 30.08.2026
