About the Role

StormGeo seeks a motivated candidate to join our Regional Sales Team Europe as a Solution Sales Manager Offshore – Norway. This role entails providing cutting-edge weather support for marine and offshore operations. We seek an individual with strong skills in new business generation and solution selling. As a valued member of the regional Europe sales team, the selected candidate will receive full support from our global Offshore Industry experts, meteorologists, and customer service specialists. This role primarily focuses on engaging with key clients in the Offshore E&P sector, marine contractors, rig owners, survey companies, Offshore Wind developers, marine services providers, and related industries. You will primarily interact with technical and procurement departments within these organizations. The position is based in Bergen or Oslo, Norway and reports to the Sales Director Europe for Weather Intelligence

Main Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle – From lead generation to contract closure, ensuring consistent delivery on your individual sales targets.
  • Grow existing accounts – Deepen relationships with key clients to drive retention, upselling, and longterm growth.
  • Build and manage your pipeline – Develop a high-quality sales pipeline through proactive outreach and opportunity management in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Sell consultatively – Understand client needs and position StormGeo’s weather-based SaaS solutions to deliver measurable value.
  • Maintain sales tools and CRM – Keep Salesforce and other sales tools up to date with accurate activity, pipeline, and forecasting data.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with meteorologists, regional marketing, customer service and domain team members to support sales execution.
  • Represent StormGeo externally – Promote our solutions at regional industry events, client meetings, and online channels to strengthen market presence.
  • Contribute market insights – Provide feedback to influence product strategy and commercial direction

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales execution with demonstrated success in driving full cycle B2B sales, including prospecting, lead qualification, solution presentation, deal closing, and post-sale client development.
  • 3+ years of professional experience from the offshore industry. Experience with SaaS solutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the offshore and/or marine industry, including its dynamics and key players.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a persuasive presence in meetings, presentations, and industry forums.
  • Fluency in the English language, Norwegian language skills are a strong advantage.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and structured individual with the ability to work both independently and as part of a remote and collaborative international team
