Job summary

IKM Acona is seeking a D&W Engineer for a fixed-term assignment in Stavanger, Norway, from 01 Oct 2026 to 31 Mar 2027. The role focuses on plugging and abandonment planning and operations within a multidisciplinary well delivery team.

You will collaborate with partners and vendors to deliver industry-standard wells, capture learnings, and contribute to continuous improvement through the delivery process. A relevant MSc is preferred; P&A experience and strong D&W knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. degree required; relevant experience can compensate for education.
• Experience with P&A work.
• Strong D&W planning and operations knowledge.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative, multi-discipline team.

Responsibilities

• Perform well planning & engineering work with a focus on Plugging/Abandonment.
• Capture learnings and improvement suggestions through the whole well delivery process and help us continuously improve.
• Participate in our multi-discipline well delivery collaboration.
• Collaborate with partners & vendors to deliver top industry standard wells.
