Lesley University invites applications for an adjunct faculty member to teach GCOUN 6258 - Consultation Skills for Counselors and Mental Health Professionals, Spring Semester 2027. The course runs in a weekend-intensive format, meeting January 29-31 and February 26-28 from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and is conducted fully in-person on campus in Cambridge, MA.

The position requires graduate-level teaching experience in counseling or psychology, with a preference for applicants holding a PhD or terminal

Competenze

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field required
• PhD or terminal degree preferred
• Successful graduate-level teaching experience preferred
• Experience teaching adult or nontraditional learners preferred
• Professional experience in counseling or mental health settings
• Experience providing consultation in mental health-related contexts
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching practices
• Ability to support diverse learners and learning needs
• Experience using LMS and instructional technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
