Job summary

Folk is seeking an Industrial Plumber to perform tubing work, bending and assembly per drawings and manuals, including pressure testing, flushing, and related tests. You will ensure quality documentation and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

The role requires an apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience, strong practical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Certificate of apprenticeship or equivalent level obtained through documented work experience and training.
• Ability to fabricate, test, and assemble tubing and small-bore piping; flushing hydraulic systems per industry standards.
• Able to follow instructions and procedures with methodical, organized approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform day-to-day work within own area of responsibility.
• Perform pressure testing and function/fit testing of tubing and piping with documentation.
• Check and sign off electronic work instructions, assembly and test procedures, and related fabrication/testing docs.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good order and ready for use; participate in maintenance.
• Adhere to all quality requirements, NCR procedures, and company policy on HSE and ethics.

Job description

On behalf of our customer, we are seeking an Industrial Plumber!

The industrial plumber’s main responsibility is to perform tubing work, excluding welding, within the department’s responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to, tube and pipe bending and assembly according to procedures, technical drawings, and operation manuals, as well as tube and pipe pressure testing, flushing, and other test activities.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• The role involves planning and performing day-to-day work within one’s own area of responsibility
• The industrial plumber performs pressure testing of components and assemblies related to tubing and piping, as well as function and fit testing including completion of control documentation
• The position requires checking and signing off electronic work instructions, assembly and test procedures, and other relevant documentation related to fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• The role also includes contributing to ensuring that all tools and equipment within the area are kept in good order, properly maintained, and ready for use at all times.
• The industrial plumber must conform to all company quality requirements and complete required quality documentation, follow NCR procedures, maintain a clear focus on HSE throughout all work, and adhere to the code of conduct and Blueprint
• The position requires establishing and maintaining a strong focus on HSE, quality, and ethics in line with company policy in all areas of operation

Education and Experience
