Qualifications

We are looking for passionate and dedicated team members

Are you ready to work in the heart of the Arctic, surrounded by majestic mountains and the dancing Northern Lights? Camp Tamok offers an authentic Arctic experience in one of Norway’s most spectacular wilderness areas. We are now looking for passionate and dedicated team members to join us for the upcoming winter season. Current openings include:

  • Camp Hosts
  • Activity guides for snowshoeing and the Snow Park

Camp Tamok is a unique wilderness destination located in the Tamokdalen, approximately 1.5 hours’ drive from Tromsø city centre. Known for its authentic atmosphere and stunning natural surroundings, the camp offers activities such as snowmobile safaris, husky sledding, reindeer visits, snowshoeing, and more.

Guests come here to connect with nature and experience genuine Arctic adventures and as a member of our team, you will help make these experiences possible.

We are looking for people who:

  • Have experience in tourism, guiding, or guest services
  • Provide excellent customer service in a warm and professional way
  • Are open, flexible, and ready to take initiative
  • Handle challenges with a positive attitude and thrive in an active, outdoor environment.
  • Are physically fit and able to lift at least 20 kg and comfortable working outdoors in temperatures as low as -30°C
  • European driver’s license (Class B) is a plus
  • Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
