Job summary

MDE Stavanger is seeking a SPS Lead to drive concept development, scope definition and tendering for subsea tie-back projects offshore. The role includes contractor follow-up and participation in commissioning campaigns on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The candidate should have a technical degree, at least five years of experience in subsea production systems or tie-back projects, and fluency in English. Norwegian language skills are beneficial and onboarding support is provided.

Qualifications

• Fluency in written and spoken English; Norwegian language skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept development, scope definitions, tendering, and contractor follow-up for subsea tie-back projects and offshore commissioning.
• Develop concepts and project plans, define technical requirements, and prepare technical documents for sanction, studies and tendering.
• Coordinate contractor follow-up in project execution and participate in offshore commissioning campaigns as needed.

Job Description

• EPN Project & Subsea Services (PSS) has accountability for early phase maturation and execution of subsea tie-back projects at the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), global subsea and topside brownfield modifications, global subsea and marine operations and decommissioning projects on the NCS.
• Tasks may include:
• Concept and project development within your discipline.
• Scope definitions/descriptions and selection of relevant technical requirements.
• Tendering and evaluation activities.
• Preparing of technical documents for project sanction, studies and contract tendering.
• Contractor follow-up in project execution.
• Sporadic offshore commissioning campaigns.

Qualification Requirements

• Technical degree (Bachelor or Master's degree).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with subsea production systems and/or tie-back projects.
• Fluency in written and spoken English. Norwegian language skills are beneficial.
