Job summary

A global recruitment company is seeking an Offshore Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join the Construction and Commissioning team in Stavanger, Norway. The role involves inspecting installations, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety compliance with necessary certifications required. Candidates must have expertise in high voltage systems as well as relevant safety training. This position is crucial for ensuring the safe energy operation of electrical systems until February 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be able to hold the role as LFS (Leader for Safety) and LFK (Leader for Switching).

Responsibilities

• Part of the CC team (Construction and Commissioning) offshore as an electrical commissioning engineer.
• Contribute during the final inspection of installation, punch clearing, and energization of the electrical systems onboard.
• Able to contribute to troubleshooting and error correction.
• Experience from operation of high voltage installations, as well as low voltage electrical systems.

Qualification Requirements

• Electrical certificate in high voltage.
• Alternatively, an electrical certificate in low voltage with additional competence according to Norwegian Oil and Gas guideline 059.
• Must be able to hold the role as LFS (Leader for Safety) and LFK (Leader for Switching).
• Offshore health certificate.
• Offshore safety course.
