Job summary

The City of Winter Haven’s Water Department is seeking a motivated Utility Information Systems Intern (Part-Time) to gain hands-on experience handling operational data for water, sewer, and reuse infrastructure. The internship focuses on data entry, data analysis, and supporting public education and outreach initiatives while contributing to department projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a relevant field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Interest in environmental science, engineering, or public administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry of water, sewer, and reuse data into internal systems.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and prepare reports.
• Assist in public education and outreach events and materials.
• Support IT coordination and basic troubleshooting with the department.
