Job summary

Videospan Labs is seeking a Full Stack Product Engineer to build rich, interactive web applications at the intersection of video technology and product. You will ship end-to-end features touching the video player, encoding pipelines, and the customer UI used daily.

You will work on Next.js/Remotion-based templates, HLS/DASH streaming, and a fast-moving startup environment, focusing on polished UI interactions and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building production web applications.
• Expertise in React, TypeScript, and the modern JavaScript ecosystem.
• Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering patterns.
• Familiarity with video on the web: HLS, DASH, Media Source Extensions, or WebCodecs.
• Comfort working across the stack and making pragmatic tradeoffs in a fast-moving startup.
• Passion for polished UI interactions, performance optimization, and video-centric product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the core web application using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop dynamic video templates and previews using Remotion and React.
• Implement video delivery workflows including HLS/DASH streaming and adaptive bitrate logic.
• Collaborate with video engineers to expose encoding, rendering, and asset management capabilities.
• Create intuitive UI/UX for complex video editing, review, and publishing workflows.
• Ship quickly, engage with customers, and iterate based on real usage.
