Job summary

Ryan is seeking a highly skilled VAT Recovery Consultant who guides clients on value-added tax matters, identifies capital leakage, and ensures ledger accuracy across national and international VAT, incorrect payments, and unused credit notes.

You will conduct VAT reviews, advise on compliance, analyze data to improve operating efficiencies, stay updated on VAT changes, and collaborate with finance, legal, and tax teams to deliver integrated VAT solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VAT reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Advise clients on VAT compliance and guide VAT-related issues, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations.
• Gather, analyze, and make recommendations based on customer data to improve operating efficiencies and costs.
• Analyze and interpret complex VAT regulations and provide timely advice to clients.
• Stay updated on VAT developments and communicate impact to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, tax) to ensure VAT solutions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
