Yanacocha Water Treatment Plant (WTP): Located 800 km northeast of Lima, Peru, Yanacocha is South America’s largest gold mine. The WTP Project consists of two of the largest acid water treatment plants in South America, with capacities of 3,000 m3/hour (West) and 2,700 m3/hour (East). Early works are currently being performed on site, preparing the permanent platforms and laydown areas for the East and West plants, in addition to the Class 2 estimate, Level 3 schedule and Execution Plan.

Position Summary

Job Summary: In this position, you will supervise the process of completion and delivery of Pre-Commissioning to the client, coordinating with the TOP coordinators, ensuring progress of documentation and completion of each stage of the process during commissioning until obtaining the mechanical completion certificate. You will participate in the implementation and preparation of management reports. This role is suited for a person with proven experience in delivering packages to the customer.

Major Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise the preparation of digital delivery packages, verify and compile documents to ensure project standards are met and timely delivery.
• Coordinate and participate in completion and delivery walks (Blue Tag) with the client; monitor loading of points in the system (Smart Completion) at closing.
• Prepare and implement periodic reports for supervision/management to control and monitor documentation.
• Maintain updated databases that feed monitoring and verification reports of delivery progress.
• Train and supervise team members in systems used for monitoring and control of documentation.
• Assist in preparing test matrices and load them into the system (Smart Completion) for Pre-Commissioning disciplines.
• Prepare updates of battery limits and documentation for the area.
• Review and monitor CRP folders and close observations as required.

Education and Experience Requirements

Requires a degree in Industrial Engineering, with 7 years of professional experience and at least 3 years of experience in project handover delivery management.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of project completion software: Smart Completion, Teamworks, Setroute and Aconex.
• Mandatory computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.).
• Experience in management and monitoring of technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, enthusiasm and diplomacy.
• Intermediate English level.
