Job summary

NexaVision in Bergen, Norway is seeking a skilled Turner for a contract position. You will operate and maintain lathes, milling machines, grinders and drill presses to shape metal to exact specifications.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in a Turner role, be able to read technical drawings, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. English proficiency is preferred, and you must work independently with minimal supervision.

We are currently seeking a skilled Turner for a contract position in Bergen Norway As a Turner you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery and tools to shape and cut metal into specific dimensions and shapes This role requires previous experience in a similar position as well as the ability to work independently and follow technical drawings and instructions

Key Responsibilities

• - Operate and maintain machinery such as lathes milling machines grinders and drill presses
• - Read and interpret technical drawings to determine specifications for metal pieces
• - Select appropriate tools and materials for each job
• - Measure and mark out metal pieces according to specifications
• - Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of measurements
• - Cut shape or bend metal pieces using various techniques such as turning drilling milling or grinding
• - Inspect finished pieces for quality control

Requirements

• - Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner or similar position

• - Physical dexterity and strength to handle heavy machinery and materials

Salary The salary for this contract position is $1400 per month

Location This job is located in Bergen Norway

Accommodation This is a contract position without accommodation provided Candidates must arrange their own housing during the duration of the contract
