Job summary

Indie Campers Trondheim is seeking a Tourism & Operations Intern to welcome guests, set them up for road trips, and help ensure their journey starts smoothly.

As the friendly face of the brand, you’ll assist with front-office tasks (check-ins/check-outs, guest registration, camper explanations) and upsell road trip extras.

You’ll support back-office operations, fleet coordination, and quality control while gaining hands-on experience in an international, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration or related field.
  • Fluent in English, with a work permit and a valid driver’s license.
  • Interest in international environments and meeting new cultures.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Front-office: check-ins/check-outs, guest registration, explain campervan features, upsell road trip extras.
  • Back-office: align reservations with available campervans, verify and prepare campers and kits.
  • Quality control: maintain campervans and address maintenance needs.
  • Support: monitor stock and coordinate fleet, troubleshoot operational issues.

THE ROLE

We’re on the lookout for passionate students or recent graduates who want to dive into the exciting world of RV and campervan rentals and gain hands-on tourism experience at our Trondheim Depot.

As our Tourism & Operations Intern , you’ll be the friendly face of our brand - welcoming guests, setting them up for road trips of a lifetime, and ensuring their journey ends just as wonderfully as it began. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Front-office activities:
  • Customer service and sales: Take care of check-ins and check-outs, register guests,process payments, explain campervan functionalities, terms and conditions, upsell road tripextras.
Back-office activities:
  • Operations handling: Align the reservations with the available campervans, verify andprepare campers and road trip extras and kits.
  • Quality control: Maintain the campervans in top condition, identify and act on possiblemaintenance or repair needs.
  • Support activities: Support the team in monitoring the existing stock, coordinating the fleetof campervans, troubleshooting operational issues.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • You are a student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, BusinessAdministration or a related field looking for an internship;
  • You are fluent in English, have a work permit (if applicable), and a valid driver’s licence (for both manual and automatic vehicles);
  • You like international environments and meeting new cultures;
  • You possess a natural talent for connecting with people and have a strong customer serviceorientation;
  • You have a problem-solving mindset, thriving to create solutions and feeling comfortable with getting your hands dirty.
