Job description

Tietoevry Banking is looking for UX Lead – Financial Crime Prevention

Financial Crime Prevention – UX Lead – Customer-Driven Innovation

Are you a senior UX professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a high-stakes domain? At Tietoevry’s Financial Crime Prevention we help keep financial systems and society safe. We’re now looking for a UX Lead to drive customer-driven innovation, simplify how banks consume secure financial services, and ensure we solve real problems through collaborative workshops with clients and product teams where your design leadership will directly impact both user experience and financial security.

Your Mission

As a UX Lead, you will be a key driver of our strategic product development, partnering closely with Senior Designers, Product Managers and Product Owners to lead Customer-Driven Innovation (CDI) workshops that focus on solving real problems. You’ll facilitate collaborative sessions with individual banks and cross-bank groups to align needs, reduce solution fragmentation, and ensure we build scalable, cohesive experiences. Leading UI design across an entire program of projects, you’ll confidently navigate complexity and translate ambiguous needs into clear, high-impact design solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and facilitate workshops with customers and internal stakeholders to validate needs and define clear problem statements.

  • Translate customer insights into innovative and scalable design solutions.

  • Collaborate proactively with stakeholders across projects to ensure alignment on requirements and priorities.

  • Drive UX strategy and contribute to the broader functional strategy within the organization.

  • Independently lead UI design efforts for a program of interconnected projects.

  • Act as a mentor and guide for other UX professionals and stakeholders.

  • Ensure UX quality in all phases of development, from concept to delivery.

  • Contribute to the evolution of Tietoevry’s design methods, tools, and delivery quality.

  • Represent Tietoevry externally with clients, identifying new opportunities and positioning our UX capabilities as a competitive advantage.

What We Expect From You

  • 10+ years of experience in UX design, with proven success in leading large-scale or complex projects.

  • Specialized expertise in interaction design, service design, or user research.

  • High-level communication and presentation skills—you can engage everyone from developers to C-level executives and customers

  • Experience planning and estimating design efforts for complex offerings.

  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align UX work with business goals.

  • Demonstrated experience building long-term client relationships and negotiating key design decisions.

  • Ability to influence cross-organizational work, drive alignment, and improve ways of working.

  • Fluency in English. (Fluency in another Nordic language is a plus.)

Why Join TietoEVRY?

We believe that great experiences are built on deep understanding and real collaboration. You’ll be joining a company with a strong design culture, a high level of trust in its people, and a clear ambition to create user-centric, future-proof solutions.

You’ll have the autonomy to drive innovation and the support of a talented, multidisciplinary team to make a real impact—on products, businesses, and the people who use them.
