Job description

Before a new product reaches someone’s door in one of 155 countries, it’s been through a lot: engineering, a testing house, a stack of certificates, packaging files, a launch plan and a warehouse. We’re profitable, growing 38% year over year, have sold 200,000+ units worldwide, and that trip now happens more often every quarter.
We’re adding SKUs, variants and markets, so engineering needs one person who owns how products get from development to market: certification, release, handovers, documentation, the works.

What You’ll Do
As our first dedicated Project Manager you’ll be expected to be very operational in addition to helping us improve longer term. You will:
  • Own the handover from engineering to commercial, marketing and logistics, and follow every new SKU, variant and technical fix all the way to launch
  • Spot dependencies between teams before they stall anything, and elevate blockers early
  • Keep product documentation current (specs, packaging files, renders, knowledge base), and be the link between customer support and design on defects and feedback
  • Help set a delivery rhythm for engineering that the team can actually run on (planning, execution, retrospective, learning), tied to company OKRs
  • Build and own the certification workflow: coordinate testing houses, track CE, FCC, UKCA and GPSR across markets, and keep technical files and Declarations of Conformity current. Sign off on product compliance, including RoHS, using the supplier data our Supply Chain team collects
You’ll sit in engineering, and work closely with Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing and Customer Support. The goals are clear: products get certified, launches land on time, and nobody has to chase anyone for the latest spec.
What You Should Bring
  • An engineering degree, or a couple of years of hands‑on engineering work
  • Experience running projects or at least coordinating across several functions
  • Enough technical depth to talk electronics and firmware with engineers, and to translate it for commercial and logistics colleagues
  • Working knowledge of CE, FCC, UKCA and GPSR, and how RoHS and REACH feed into them. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should understand what the requirements mean in practice.
  • Strong organisation and follow-through, and the independence to work in a company that is still building its processes
Bonus points if you’ve built a certification or release process from scratch, worked with external testing labs, or shipped connected consumer hardware before.
What We Can Offer You
  • A paycheck, obviously.
  • Other benefits like health insurance, pension and 5 weeks vacation.
  • An office space in Oslo with a lunch provider and gym on site. Along with some friendly colleagues as well
  • Flexible working environment
  • A brand that’s going somewhere, launching new products and entering new markets.
Location: Oslo, Norway.
Ohdoki is an Oslo-born pleasure-tech company building connected hardware and digital experiences for people around the world.
We build technology for human intimacy, connection and sexual wellbeing, bringing fun and elevated experiences to people in 155 countries. Best known for The Handy, our flagship interactive device, we’ve sold over 200,000 units, connect more than 10,000 devices every day, and have built a community of 25,000+ members across Discord and Reddit. We’ve been covered by CNET, The Verge, Mashable, GQ and Cosmopolitan, among others.
Despite our global footprint we’re still a small team, which means the distance between an idea and actually making it happen is short. As we launch new products and enter new markets, we’re looking for people who want to help shape not just their function, but the company we’re becoming.
Our process:
  • Recruiter Screening (30 mins, remote)
  • Meet & Greet with 1 or 2 people from the team (45-60 mins, hybrid)
  • Case/Scenario based interview (75-90 mins, hybrid)
  • Reference Checks
