Job summary

IKM is seeking a technical lead based in Forus/Stavanger to guide offshore equipment packages from design through procurement, manufacturing, testing and delivery, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

You will conduct bid clarification meetings, kick-off sessions, and coordinate with the package buyer and MC engineer while maintaining document control and package distribution for suppliers and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (master's or bachelor's).
• 7–12 years in offshore-related projects.
• Knowledge of rotating and static equipment.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and clients.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for equipment packages across design to delivery.
• Lead BCMs and kick-off meetings.
• Coordinate follow-up with package buyers and MC engineer.
• Develop and manage package distribution matrix with documents control.
• Own follow-up tasks for procurement package to ensure timely docs.
