Job summary

Applica is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to act as Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for a major M&M scope offshore on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. You will manage mechanical equipment packages, prepare technical specifications, lead bid evaluations and coordinate suppliers and FAT activities.

Based in Bergen, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and the client, ensuring compliance with Equinor ST and STS requirements and supporting brownfield modification projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least three years of relevant experience, including as a Package Responsible Engineer for mechanical packages on brownfield offshore projects.
• Experience with topside maintenance and modification (M&M) projects on Norwegian Continental Shelf.
• Knowledge of Equinor ST and STS requirements.
• Experience with early-phase studies, concept development and/or EPCI modification contracts.
• Proficiency in MIPS, SAP, TIME, STID, ProCoSys and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, open-minded and solution-oriented approach.
• Fluency in Norwegian will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical equipment packages, including technical specifications, bid evaluations, supplier coordination, documentation reviews and FAT.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and the client to ensure compliance with Equinor ST and STS requirements.
• Support brownfield modification projects.
