Job summary

ACL, a leading technology solutions company with over 30 years of experience in LATAM, seeks an Oracle OSS/BSS Technical Lead in Oslo, Norway to drive architecture for Order Management, Provisioning, Activation, and Billing. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage incidents 24/7, optimize KPIs, and liaison with clients and vendors using Linux/Windows, Kubernetes, and observability tools.

Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on technical leadership experience in IT/Telecommunications.
• In-depth OSS/BSS, BRM, Provisioning, Activation, Order Management, Real-Time Charging, Mediation and Billing knowledge.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows; Cloud Native environments; observability tools.
• Fluent/Advanced English communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Coordination & Architecture for OSS/BSS solutions including Order Management, Provisioning, Activation, and Billing.
• Oversee L1-L3 incident & operations management with 24/7 escalation handling.
• Perform advanced analytics of platform KPIs, preventive maintenance, and risk mitigation.
• Serve as Client & Vendor liaison, manage tickets and maintenance windows.
• Create high-quality technical documentation and deployment guides.

At ACL, a leading technology solutions company with over 30 years of experience in Latin America, we are looking for top talent for the position of Oracle OSS/BSS Technical Lead. If you are passionate about driving complex telecommunication solutions, resolving critical system performance challenges, and leading high-impact engineering teams in OSS/BSS, BRM, and Cloud Native architectures, this opportunity is for you!

What will you do?

• Lead Technical Coordination & Architecture: Drive Order Management, Provisioning, Activation, and Billing solutions (Solution Catalog driven). Direct coordination efforts between internal stakeholders, enterprise clients, and third-party vendors while serving as a passionate technical leader.
• Incident & Operations Management: Oversee L1 to L3 technical support and troubleshooting, monitor real-time alarms/incidents, resolve APPs faults (performance metrics, order processing), and attend 24/7 emergency escalation calls to provide swift workarounds or long-term solutions.
• Preventive Maintenance & KPI Optimization: Conduct advanced analyses of platform KPIs and statistics to generate trend reports, execute preventive routines, and mitigate operational risks across Oracle platforms.
• Client & Vendor Liaison: Manage technical tickets/SRs at My Oracle Support on behalf of clients, prepare maintenance windows (MOPs, risk analysis, contingency plans, knowledge transfer), and continuously elevate customer satisfaction.
• Documentation & Process Excellence: Produce high-quality technical documentation including test plans, deployment guides, MOPs, ATPs, and knowledge base articles to build lean, automated, and scalable operational models.

What are we looking for?

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on technical leadership experience in the IT / Telecommunications industry.
• Core Domain Knowledge: In-depth technical experience in OSS/BSS, BRM Core nodes, Provisioning, Activation, Order Management, Real-Time Charging, Mediation, and Billing.
• Technical Stack & Systems: Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows OS; hands-on exposure to Cloud Native (CN) environments, Kubernetes (K8s), and observability platforms (Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus).
• Language Proficiency: Fluent / Advanced English speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills to interact seamlessly with international clients and technical stakeholders.
• Key Competencies: Strong analytical, system diagramming, and problem-solving skills; proven ability to manage competing priorities during critical incident escalations.

Additional Considerations (Desirable)

• Flexibility to work rotational shift schedules starting early morning or afternoon (Mexican CST time).
• Availability for rotational weekend shifts and 24/7 on-call support duties.
• An updated passport for credential management and potential regional alignment.
