Job summary

KONGSBERG is seeking a Team Leader for the Composite Assembly department within the Ocean Technologies division in Horten. The role focuses on leading a skilled production team to deliver world-class hydroacoustic sensors with high precision, coordinating with other production teams, and ensuring resources and processes support on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate brings a trade certificate or higher education, experience with composite production, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.

Job description

We are looking for a new Team Leader for the Composite Assembly department in the Ocean Technologies division. Our team consists of skilled workers executing precises hand craft. You will join us making world class hydroacoustic sensors that require high precision which are produced with unique technology and processes. To make these world-class products we must cooperate with all the other teams in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and overlook the production team so that our deliveries are on-time
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure a good flow in the production
• Make sure all team members have what they need when they need it
• Handle quality and efficiency improvement tasks

We think you should have

• Trade certificate or relevant higher education
• Experience with production of composites
• Be comfortable with using ERP systems and excel, and other standard office software
• Experience cooperating with other teams in complex productions

You are able to

• Strong language skills in Norwegian and English
• Be positive and solution oriented in a hectic work environment
• Be structured and able to prioritize with the goal of utilizing our team in the most efficient manner
