Job summary

KONGSBERG Norcontrol is seeking a System Engineer to join our Operations team in Norrköping, delivering, commissioning, and supporting maritime surveillance systems worldwide.

You will install, configure, and commission systems at customer sites, perform upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and integrate sensors and third-party systems across Sweden and international projects. You will work with customers and project teams, providing on-site maintenance and technical support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, CS, Electronics, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of software, hardware, and networking.
• Experience with installation, configuration, or troubleshooting of technical systems.
• Strong communication in Scandinavian languages and English.
• Valid category B driver's license.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing

We think you should have

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Solid knowledge of software, hardware, and networking
• Experience with installation, configuration, or troubleshooting of technical systems
• Strong communication skills in both Scandinavian and English
• A valid driver's license (Category B)
• Experience from customer-facing technical roles is an advantage
• Experience or interest in maritime systems, sensors, or surveillance solutions is beneficial
