Job summary

KONGSBERG is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join Kongsberg Discovery in Norway. You will coordinate logistics, material flow, and equipment handling to support production, projects, development, and upgrades.

The role includes packing/shipping documentation, maintenance routines, and contributing to HSE improvements. You will read and interpret technical documentation, manage inventories, and coordinate inspections of lifting equipment and facilities.

Qualifications

• Technical background in a related field.
• Experience in logistics, production support, or technical coordination.
• Strong understanding of material handling and inventory processes.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and procedures.
• Good computer skills; experience with administrative/technical systems; AX/Teamcenter/ProArc an advantage.
• Fluent Norwegian and English (written and spoken).

Would you like to work in a hands-on technical environment, supporting the production and delivery of advanced underwater technology? We are looking for a Technical Coordinator to join our team at Kongsberg Discovery. In this role, you will help ensure that equipment, logistics, documentation and support activities are well coordinated throughout our projects.

What you will be doing

We think you should have

• A technical background, such as a technician, engineering qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience from logistics, production support, technical coordination or similar activities.
• Good understanding of material handling, inventory management and logistics processes.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and procedures.
• Good computer skills and experience with relevant administrative or technical systems. Experience with AX, Teamcenter or ProArc is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
