Job summary

SLB Norge AS in Tananger is seeking a Surface Equipment Mechanical Technician to maintain, repair, test and prepare surface equipment, ensuring safe and on-time delivery. You will work with cement heads, filter skids, fluid manifolds, HPHT equipment, PDA pumps and other pressurised gear in a collaborative team.

Based at our Maintenance Base, you will uphold high HSE and quality standards, drive maintenance efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while building strong

Qualifications

• Trade certification as Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or Industrial Assembler.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with CMMS and TLM systems.
• Experience with MPI, DPI, NDT inspections is beneficial.
• Strong focus on HSE, quality, and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, testing and inspection of surface equipment (cement heads, filter skids, fluid manifolds).
• Ensure activities are documented in CMMS and maintain records in TLM systems.
• Support continuous improvement to increase asset utilization and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure safe, on-time delivery and operational readiness.
• Assist with root cause analysis and equipment lifecycle optimization.
