Job summary
NES Fircroft seeks an experienced SURF Umbilical Specialist to support an offshore deepwater development through FEED, tendering, engineering and installation phases. The role requires leadership in umbilical engineering activities and collaboration with contractors across FEED, EPCI, procurement and offshore campaigns.
The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Engineering and 10+ years in large offshore SURF projects, with proven umbilical design experience on EPCI programs and familiarity

Contract Type: 12 month Renewable Contract
We are seeking an experienced SURF Umbilical Specialist to support a major offshore deepwater development project through FEED, tendering, engineering and installation phases.
- Lead umbilical engineering activities
- Support FEED and EPCI delivery
- Manage contractor engineering activities
- Review design documentation and technical submissions
- Support procurement, fabrication and installation
- Participate in offshore campaigns and commissioning
- Master's Degree in Engineering
- Experience within project: at least 10 years in large offshore oil & gas SURF deep water projects and experience in umbilical design on an EPCI project.
- Good knowledge of relevant codes (DNV), and preferably of TotalEnergies General Specifications, procedures and policies.
- Previous experience with Major SURF Contractors during project execution for deep water project and follow-up of the engineering and procurement of umbilicals,
- Previous experience with Umbilical Manufacturing Supplier
- Positive, constructive, proactive and pragmatic mindset.
- Ability to work within large teams with other parties (Contractors, suppliers, HQ technical teams, etc).
- Previous experience within a complex and multicultural working environment.
