Job summary

DOF is seeking a Lead Project Engineer SURF and Construction to strengthen our marine operations team in the Atlantic Region. The role focuses on planning, executing, and delivering complex subsea projects with emphasis on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

You will own technical packages, work with cross‑functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in HSEQ practices. Office locations include Bergen or Haugesund, with Oslo as an option, and travel to offshore sites as required.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education (bachelor's or master's) or relevant work experience.
• Minimum 10 years in marine operations; offshore installation/subsea experience preferred.
• Experience in SURF and Construction engineering for marine- and subsea operations.
• Knowledge of SURF/Construction installation vessels, deployment spreads, lifting and connection aids.
• Ability to lead project teams and work independently in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex subsea projects from planning to offshore execution, ensuring safety and quality.
• Own technical packages and interface with clients, injecting innovation and precision.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore multidisciplinary teams to meet targets.
• Drive compliance with DOF standards, client expectations, and regulations.
• Prepare task plans, procedures and other engineering deliverables as project needs evolve.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to HSE improvements and safer execution.
