Job summary

DonahueFavret Contractors, Inc. seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on our projects. You will supervise crews, coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion. Travel to out-of-town projects may be required for the duration of the project.

Strong English communication, supervisory background, and solid knowledge of OSHA, building codes, and blueprint reading are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Reading and intermediate math skills.
• English communication with customers and contacts; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Supervisory experience and/or ability to lead a team.
• Advanced knowledge of construction techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of building codes.
• Advanced blueprint reading capability.
• Ability to interpret and apply OSHA regulations.
• Ability to use office equipment (phones, copiers, laptop, iPad).

We're Hiring!

DonahueFavret Contractors, Inc. seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent.

This position reports to a Project Manager, and directly supervises and coordinates the work performed by suppliers, subcontractors and DFC construction crews, and is responsible for job site safety, quality of construction, cost-effective job completion, and maintenance and security of tools and equipment.

Some projects may require out-of-town travel and/or temporary relocation, for the duration of the project.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Reading and intermediate math skills
