Tampnet AS is seeking a Subsea Engineer / Optical to manage, design and execute subsea fibre projects in Stavanger. You will lead projects for expansions, improvements, operation and maintenance of the fibre infrastructure and support tenders and studies. Security clearance may be required and travel is possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
• Security clearance may be required under the Norwegian Security Act
• Independent with the ability to manage projects

Responsibilities

• Project management, design, and execution of subsea fibre infrastructure expansions and maintenance
• Provide engineering administrative support for tenders, projects, and studies
• Contribute to Life Cycle Management for the fibre optic network
• Focus on amplified submarine fibre optic systems (PFE), testing and verification
• Installation contractor follow up and supplier management
