Job summary

TechnipFMC plc is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Maintenance Engineering Department in Europe. You will support refurbishment, recertification, modification, mobilization, and demobilization of subsea production systems, with focus on onshore operations in Bergen.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery, and acting as technical liaison with workshops, customers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, marine, electrical, automation, or related engineering field.
• Experience from workshop or offshore operations.
• Subsea engineering experience preferred.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
• Lean principles and structured problem solving experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in front-end planning before project start-up.
• Coordinate the service scope for the project.
• Help define maintenance strategies per requirements.
• Provide input to scopes of work, materials, quotations, and processes.
• Follow up and provide day-to-day technical support for workshops.
• Act as the project's technical point of contact for workshops, customers, and subcontractors.
• Review technical reports and provide feedback to customers.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve quality escapes and deviations.
• Provide technical assistance in resolving issues with workshops and Supply Chain.
• Prepare, review, and maintain project and engineering documentation.
• Lead internal and customer technical meetings as required.
