Job summary

L&T Technology Services Limited in Oslo is seeking an experienced Subsea / Underwater Cable Installation Technician to support underwater installation, cabling, testing, commissioning and maintenance across Norway. The role involves installing underwater camera systems connected to the main control centre via hard-wired marine cabling to provide reliable live video and data feeds.

An ideal candidate has hands-on subsea/offshore experience in oil & gas pipelines or marine engineering

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on experience in subsea, underwater, offshore or marine projects.
Experience in underwater/subsea engineering and installation work.
Experience with oil & gas pipeline or subsea pipeline projects is preferred.
Hands-on underwater cable laying experience.
Experience installing fiber optic cables and marine-grade Ethernet cabling.
Experience with underwater cable trenching, burial and protection systems.

Responsibilities

Support underwater installation, cabling, testing, commissioning and maintenance across Norway.
Install underwater camera systems connected to the main control centre through marine cabling.
Work with subsea/offshore engineering projects and ensure reliability of live feeds.
