Through their portfolio of projects, they are mitigating the environmental cost of industrial activity for a cleaner, more sustainable future.

SLB Capturi sees a daily growth in their market potential as a rising number of customers look to carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) and their company to solve their emissions challenges.

SLB Capturi is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. They have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States.

Today, they are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, they are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.

What will you be doing?

As a Subcontracting Manager, you will develop, negotiate and execute major contracts in FEED, tender and execution projects, ensuring that major contractors deliver on cost, HSSE, Quality and sustainability within the agreed delivery time.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Widen and strengthen the outreach to potential construction contractors and suppliers
  • Lead the development of construction subcontracting procedure and strategies
  • Contribute to the development of the work requisition and scope of work for each construction package/discipline, in cooperation with project, engineering, construction, legal and the supply chain teams
  • Lead the entire tendering process for construction subcontracting in cooperation with engineering, construction and legal
  • Lead production and contractual meetings with Subcontractors, monitor construction performance, verify regular payment and invoicing process, ensure all contractual obligations are strictly complied
  • Lead Subcontractors execution follow-up and claim resolution process, in cooperation with engineering, construction and the project management team
  • Monitor Subcontractors performance and compliance requirements, subcontractors’ development targeting long-term business cooperation
Your qualifications:
  • Master's degree in relevant business or engineering (or similar)
  • At least 5 years of experience in contract and subcontract management in EPC onshore construction projects
  • Familiarity with complex contractual scopes encompassing fabrication, modularization, site installation works, multi-disciplinary construction works, commissioning, and start-up works
  • Solid contractual skills, including ability to independently formulate and negotiate contractual provisions (always acting under legal guidance)
  • Technical/operational awareness, multi-disciplinary interest and experience in project delivery organizations (preferably, in process/fabrication/construction industry)
  • Strong HSSE mindset, with a drive to improve the carbon footprint of SLB Capturi operations
  • Experience from working in SAP is an advantage
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary international environment
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Norwegian or Danish language is a plus

Contract duration: 1 year with option for extension. Start-date: ASAP. Work location: Fornebu.
