Job summary

Dovre Solutions is seeking a Cost Allocation Accountant to join the Financial Accounting & Integrated Reporting team in Stavanger.

You will manage monthly M&O cost allocations, maintain SAP allocation models, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role collaborates across Finance and other functions, supporting audits and internal controls while seeking opportunities to optimize and digitize processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, accruals, and cost allocation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Fluency in Norwegian and English (written and verbal).
Minimum five years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and related SAP modules/systems.
Payroll accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update M&O allocation models in SAP, including monthly allocation keys.
Perform monthly M&O allocation process and record charges/ accruals.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts related to payroll, M&O costs, and prepayments.
Prepare and issue recharge invoices to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain master data for M&O processes (cost centers/objects).
Analyze costs charged to M&O pool and ensure compliance with JOAs and NOG30.
