Job summary

Mercury GmbH seeks a Lead Senior Planner in Kristiansand, Norway, to head planning activities for large-scale data centre projects. You will supervise the planning team, develop and control master schedules across design, procurement, construction and handover, and deliver timely progress reports and dashboards for internal and client use.

The role requires 7+ years in planning, strong data centre lifecycle knowledge, and advanced Primavera P6 skills.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years planning and project controls experience in large-scale construction or mission-critical environments.
  • Strong understanding of full Data Centre lifecycle from design to close-out.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 for integrated master programmes and lookahead baselines.
  • Proven ability to lead planning coordination across construction.
  • Excellent knowledge of Earned Value Management, schedule variance analysis, and recovery planning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and control the integrated master schedule for design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
  • Produce timely progress reports, dashboards and KPI outputs for internal and client reporting.
  • Lead schedule analysis across the programme, including critical path and delay analysis.
  • Mentor and coach Senior Planners and Planning staff; allocate workload and support capability development.
  • Travel to projects as required and provide cover for senior planning roles when needed.
