Job summary

Transocean Ltd is seeking an experienced HSE professional to advise and assist personnel on health, safety and environment aspects of management systems and operations in the offshore region. You will monitor HSE performance, offer strategic solutions and support CMS documentation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in offshore drilling with strong regulatory knowledge, excellent communication, and proficiency with Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental, or related field (experience also accepted).
• 5+ years in offshore drilling with HSE focus.
• Experience in incident investigations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support operations on HSE within the region.
• Mentor and develop Rig HSE Advisors in office and offshore.
• Act as SME for the HSE management system and CMS inputs.
• Support HSE initiatives, alerts, and cross-functional programs.
• Lead or participate in Level 1 investigations as required.

Job Summary

Advise and assist all Transocean personnel in operational integrity and health, safety and environment related aspects of the company’s management systems and operations. Monitor the HSE performance of operations within the assigned region for consistency, and offer strategic solutions as required.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide HSE support to operations by assisting, mentoring, and developing Rig HSE Advisors within your respective region, both in the office and offshore.
• Provide HSE support to operations in meetings with customers, regulators, and upper management as required.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the HSE management system.
• Supports the development and implementation of HSE initiatives and programs to promote HSE performance.
• Provide support relating to all corporate HSE alerts, advisories, and bulletins in assigned region.
• Research and distribute HSE information and initiatives for awareness by liaising and participating with external groups.
• Support, participate or lead Level 1 Top Set investigations, as required.
• Provide input to the CMS documentation as required.
• Provides HSE support to company functions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree - Safety, environmental or another related subject. Experience in lieu of degree accepted.

Experience

5+ years of offshore drilling industry, including at least 3+ years of HSE experience.

Skills

Experienced in application of relevant industry associations (e.g., IADC, API, etc.). Knowledge of local regulations applicable to operations and HSE. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possesses great interpersonal skills in support of operations. Proficient in Microsoft applications with particular focus in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experienced in incident investigations and reporting. Great organizational skills and ability to work unsupervised. Detail orientated and able to produce good quality, accurate work.
