Job summary

DHL Corporate Procurement in Norway is seeking a skilled procurement professional to join our in-country team in Skedsmokorset. You will implement category strategies, conduct supplier negotiations, and collaborate with local stakeholders to deliver value.

The role requires at least 2 years in procurement, fluency in English and Norwegian, and a Bachelor’s degree. You will work independently in a dynamic, international environment with the DHL Group's global resources.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement or a related function.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively engage and persuade others, ensuring understanding and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
  • Fluency in English and Norwegian, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as this role involves representing the company in-country.

  • Provide expert sourcing support for key business initiatives, conducting supply market research and intelligence to guide investment decisions and budget planning.
  • Establish local or sub-regional frame contracts while identifying strategic sourcing opportunities and managing relationships with strategic suppliers.
  • Integrate Procurement services and processes within the business divisions, ensuring maximum value, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in terms of quality, price, and service.
  • Specialize in the strategic sourcing of goods and services to drive cost reduction and maintain quality standards in line with the DPDHL Sustainability Roadmap.
  • Embrace the latest sourcing technologies and innovations, utilizing active market intelligence to keep the procurement process agile and forward-looking.

Job Purpose

Implement best local & sub-regional category specific strategies based on internal business requirements. Work closely with local and regional procurement teams to ensure identify and recommend the "best in class" suppliers and maintain good relationships with Business Partners.
