WHY do we need YOU?:

We are looking for an experienced SoftwareDeveloper to join our team in Stavanger to help build and scale LIFT—a digitalservice delivering high-quality Learning, Improvement, Facilitation, andTraining activities in healthcare.

LIFT has been developed by Laerdal Global Health (LGH), a nonprofit sistercompany of Laerdal Medical, and will be carried forward through a strongcollaboration between the software teams in both companies.
For over 15 years, LGH has worked towardthe vision that no one should die or be disabled unnecessarily duringchildbirth in low resource settings, with a goal of saving an additional700,000 lives annually by 2030. LIFT is already contributing to measurableimpact through the Safer Births initiative (https://saferbirths.com),with national-scale implementation underway in Tanzania and early-stagerollouts in Nigeria. In Nepal, LGH is also supporting UNICEF and the Ministryof Health in Nepal to integrate LIFT into a national in-hospital qualityimprovement program.
To scale this impact globally, we need your expertise.

Your Role:

As a Software Product Developer, you will:

  • Join a cross-functional team building web and mobile applications that teach lifesaving skills and empower healthcare systems to improve.
  • Contribute to the full product lifecycle—from shaping the vision and prototyping to delivering robust, scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers, as well as international partners and projects like NeoNatalie Live and LIFT Scenarios.

Required Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in both backend and frontend development.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and share knowledge.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and C# (Full Stack).
  • Experience with test-driven development and modern testing tools.
  • Familiarity with: Database integration and maintenance, DevOps, Observability, DORA metrics. Continuous delivery, containerization, GitOps

  • CI/CD: Azure DevOps
  • Code Quality: SonarQube
  • Collaboration Tools: Git, Jira, Confluence
